The Wretched Wheel

But you must remember my dear collegues, that the "Holy Wheel" that you all are talking about also constitutes a solid piece of matter, and will be consumed in a matter of minutes, although this would distract the little bugger for a few, from destroying its cage that is.

on the contrary Mr.Engels. Wheels, like cages are made of a very rare alloy that the gerbils(and hamsters) try as they might can not gnaw through. Thus you can kepp them in your cage to scare away the demons behind your dresser!
Demons behind dresser

Of course, if you have no dresser, the demons have nothing to hide behind. Thus, if you remove your dresser from your room and put it in a safe place, say, the curb outside your house, the demons will promptly relocate to where they came from (under your bed) and have it out with the monsters that inhabit under there, leaving both dead.
I find it is much easier to sleep that way, not having gerbils making noise and such.
