I have added a small section on Beverly Cleary, who has just died, aged 104. Not sure how she got missed in the original collaborate entry. 
HEADER Beverly Cleary
A claim can be made for Cleary as America's best-loved children's author. Her birthday, 12 April, is celebrated with 'Drop Everything and Read Day', held annually in US libraries and schools. Notable fictional characters include sisters Ramona and Beezus Quimby, Theodore 'The Beaver' Cleaver and Henry Huggins. Born in 1916, Cleary lived to the grand old age of 104, passing away in 2021 just days shy of her 105th birthday.

Thanks. Surprisingly no-one mentioned her in the original conversation and she isn't an author I'm familiar with, so she was missed. These entries never pick up everyone, alas...

I read her bio when I saw her name on the Wiki deaths. Fascinating woman! When I saw she had a day named in her honour - well, I was surprised that she wasn't anywhere in our EG. She is now
