Interesting read, Gnomon.
Just a small point:
Nothing wrong with this spelling, but the link takes us to 'The Greek Myth of Heracles', and other Entries linked from your entry use the (more familiar if less Greek-looking) 'Heracles'.
Also, far more Edited Entries use 'Heracles' than 'Herakles'.
Should I leave it as is, or shall I change it?

I've a personal preference for Herakles myself. When he's the Roman form, he is Hercules, but in Greek form he is Herakles.
I don't feel strongly enough about it, though
(a) to change all the other references, or
(b) to worry if you change it to Heracles.
So I'll leave it up to you.
