h2g2 The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy: Earth Edition

It's fairly obvious to any sane person on hootoo, [hmmm, looks like this entry could be limited in it's responses if only the sane respond ] however seems there are one or two folk around who think that the freedom to also gives them the right to interfere in one to one convos or attempt to disrupt the flow of a fun journal entry by posting negative, snide, nasty and pointless comments. Then there are the few who make feeble and pathetic attempts to latch on to some of the more vulnerable members who express their feelings openly, on all manner of topics, only to be badly hurt after their confidence has been won.
No point in naming names, those few people know who they are, they're pretty sad specimens and as stated, thankfully, few in number. As is the case though it's always those few that manage to ruin things for the many.
Feel free to by all means, no way of it being stopped anyway, it's an open, public site, there for anyone to see and read but if a need arises for a comment then spare a thought for where and who you comment to. A lot of conversations now take part in two places these days, here and off-line in places like msn so chances are you will only see half a story in a thread that probably won't make a lot of sense but could give a 'wrong impression'. In this case the old adage of 'look before you leap' pays, ask a question before commenting/criticising to ensure you don't have the 'wrong end of the stick'. Simple enough strategey to follow and that way flame wars, frayed tempers don't crack off and friends stay friends.

I will stand by my friends through thick and thin, I will leap to their defence when needed the same as I will tell my friends when I think they are wrong. That to me is what true friendship is. I've been suitably chastised by friends both here and in real life, friendship after all is a two way street.

My old mantra still stands, Honesty, Loyalty, Love and Trust, without which there is no friendship, no relationship. Old fashioned in this day and age perhaps but I've lived and worked by those principles and it's done me no harm. Thats not to say harm has'nt been done to me but thats for another time.

Anyhoo, thats got that off me chest, now back to the fun bit, anybody got any ideas how I can make an anagram out of ST.??
