Well shows what I know.
I still think Milan are going to nick it though.

I've seen many comebacks in my time, but that has to be the most unbelievable game I've ever seen...

I think that is probably the most amazing game of club football I have ever seen.

As much as it pains me to say it as an Everton fan, that was a fantastic game of football. Well done Liverpool.

I enjoyed that very much, although I felt a bit sorry for Paolo Maldini, who is an absolute legend and worked his legs off.

"UEFA spokesman William Gaillard insisted European football's governing body had no plans to change the rules and allow Liverpool to defend their Champions League crown.
He told BBC Radio Five Live the decision lay with the Football Association, who recently decided to allow Everton, who finished fourth in the Premiership, to keep their place in next season's Champions League qualifying rounds.
"Rules are rules and they were passed for a very good reason," he said."
Just to attempt to put a dampner on the celebrations.

Poor old Michael Owen. You leave a club because it doesn't seem to be able to deliver the success that you crave: and then this goes and happens.
Whoops!

That was the most extraordinary game of football I've watched. First half- all Milan, Cafu and Maldini look like a teenage wingers ratehr than an aging defenders, Liverpool nowhere. Then, for fifteen minutes Liverpool are the most awesome attacking force in football. Extra time, Milan get some control of posession again. but two things amde me realise it was going to be Liverpool's night- Dudek's fanatstic double save from Shevchenko an Djimi Traore, DJIMI F***ING TRAORE!, pulling out a great goalline clearance.
A sensational match- I was betting on 0-0 with Milan to win on penalties. That was a fiver down the toilet.
