I'm an Everton fan, but I have been following the fortunes of Wimbledon since they were thrown out of the league, and had to rebuild their club. So its fascinating to note that once again the club is high enough in the football pyramid to be noticed : <./>http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/eng_conf/conference_south_table/default.stm</.>
Hopefully they can build on this now, and get back in the league... probably gonna a be a little while yet though.
Just thought it was worth marking the event.

mmm, i think i know what my first team will be when the new Football Manager comes out. Rebuilding Wimbledon into Premier LEague Champions, now there's a challenge.

Not if you're my brother-in-law. A fully paid up travelling Luton Town fan - he doesn't share your glee. 
Although coincidentally, that lot *really* hate the MK Dons.

Argyle have had a low intensity rivalry with Luton ever since we were competing for the league two championship a few years ago. Joe Kinnear was the Luton manager at the time and the stuff he had to say was incediary.
So I was pleased to see them fail!
In all seriousness though if folks don't have opinions about the teams either way there is a wonderful romance about the AFC Wimbledon story that really appeals I think.
