A brief history of Cowdenbeath football club's league titles:
1914- Won Second Division, World War I breaks out, come 1918 no teams are promoted.
1939- Won Second Division, World War II breaks out, come 1945 no teams are promoted. (sparks rumours of Hitler's love of Dumbarton)
2006- With two games left, Cowden are two pointrs clear at the top of Division 3 at a time of global political instability. Worried yet?

mixuP reminds me of a question.
Which former Premiership player had the same surname as a TV programme?

That would Rigobert Song's Irish brother-in-law.
Murphy Song O'Praise.
