Anyone know how (if) the battery in the Pulse CD case can be changed without ruining said case??

The Pulse CD does (luckily) have a replacable battery. It is a standard AA battery in a standard AA battery holder.....the only problem is getting to it!!! After several unsuccessful attempts, I resorted to a long knife (PLEASE be careful with your hands and your box!!) along one edge of the bottom section of the case where the battery/LED is stored. Once this is done, the flap can be undone and the battery replaced easily.....all you have to do then is get it all back in! (easier said than done unfortunately)....the main trick is to make sure the led pokes out properly, I would suggest some sort of epoxy resin to fix it in place, then try and glue the flap back down with some fast thick cardboard glue.....there you have it, a rescuscitated PULSE CD :o)

Question is why you would want to forstly own the CD which when it came out I realised was nothing more than just another emaculate "live" performance of nearly all the stuff on the previous "live" CD and secondly if I had bought it the first thing I would ask is "how do I turn the ***** thing off"

Sorry, CH!
As I mentioned in another forum, I feel it is aesthetically pleasing.
Especially when you are listening to the CD, and drinking Ardbeg at the same time.

Don't use any of the "Superglue" types of adhesive anywhere near an LED. The coloured part will turn white. Even the fumes from said glue are enough to effect them. It'll probably turn the plastic of CD cases white too.
