David Walker Lives Here!
This page is the home of David Andrew Neil Walker M.Eng (hons)
I grew up around High Wycombe, attending Hamilton CC School between the ages of 5 and 12, then the Royal Grammar School until I was 18. Then I went to Southampton University for 4 years where I gained my Masters Degree in Electronics (2:1). I married Hannah Sharpe in July 2003 and we moved back to High Wycombe as Mr. and Mrs. Walker-Sharpe.
The marriage thing didn't entirely work out, so after the divorce I'm back to David Walker, and for the last 5 years I've been with the lovely Lucy Clarke. We recently moved to Oxfordshire together.
I hope to use this space to discuss some ideas, and maybe explain a few of those electronic knick-knacks that turn up in everyday life. If you have something you want to say, post it here or email me at [email protected].
I became a member of H2G2 a long time ago when I was just starting University (hence the low membership number!) and once had the opportunity to chat to Douglas Adams himself in one of the BBC Chatrooms, a few months before he passed away.
So, Bye for now, but be in touch!
Dave

"The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy is a wholly remarkable book. It has been compiled and recompiled many times and under many different editorships. It contains contributions from countless numbers of travellers and researchers."
