Traveller in Time not writing the page
"You could write a html page hat generates all the unsubscribes yourself. This would man you to write a line of code for each conversation to unsubscribe from. Not much less then clicking on the unsubscribe button once for each conversation.
No, there is no shortcut to unsubscribe from multiple conversations at once.
The idea is that you subscribe to a Forum only if you are interested in each and every conversation on that Forum. The best policy is to subscribe to threads only if you think you are going to like beeing informed of new postings on it. "

The suggestion for a multi-unsubscribe has already been made a few times - and hasn't been forthcoming so far. You wouldn't want an unsubscribe-from-all button though, because that would necessarily include those older conversations you are trying to see!

So this means I can never search my convo's at any point further back than the most recent convo's to that page..Gah!Unless I go through and unsubscribe individually to hundreds of convo's with folk starting new ones all the time?
Sounds like finger in the dam time to me.

Keep one window open on the side of the screen, use open new to click on the unsubscribe x repeat until your screen gets clogged then delete all the confirmation windows. "

This is going to take forever. However I have this cunning plan.I shall unsubscribe from all my pages until I've unsubscribed from every convo back to at least a year ago.
I may be gone some time...

"Any idea what conversations you are searching?
--Journals: go to the friend who started it
--Comments on Edited entry: the Entry
--Clubs and societies: litlle bit depends on what where and when. . .
All converssations are still there on their own Forum "

Trouble is I cannot remember whom I was chatting to or what it was called.I just know it was about finding some good art links for online art resources for art history.I got a reply or two with some good links.I had bookmarked it but in the meantime I've had several reformats, hardware upgrades and one hard drive failure.I backed up lots of stuff but this was not one of them. Also the search engine doesn't seem to go all that far back..seems like the archives have become harder to reach.

Black Cheetah: The Veggie Black Cat (Have two accounts for some reason!) Posted May 23, 2006
nope i went through and clicked on each one... however i figured out a way to make it faster....
if you click on "show more conversations" in your space, you'll get a listing of 25 records at a time. Then I went through and clicked on an 'x', waited a second, hit escape and clicked on the next 'x'. This way the page didnt refresh and i didnt have to keep on going back to the view. In a few seconds I had unsubscribed from an entire page of conversations....
