Captain Cooker = wild pig (thought to be descended from pigs released by Captain Cook centuries ago)
Grouse = excellent!
Spadework / spading = serious flirting
Scotsman's stand = vantage point from which to watch the rugby or cricket which is outside the gates, and hence free
Gumboot = ironic term for Wellington, NZ's capital (related to the term Wellington Boots)

I've heard "chuddy" for chewing gum
"stink" for bad as in "look at her stink dress"
"froth" for "in your face" after you have proven someone wrong (possibly localised to the Templeview, Hamilton area)
"scoury" as in calf scours (diarrhoea) for bad
"rattle your dags" for "let's get a move on"

wot about "lashed" or is that only confined to wellington?
lashed - so wrong. as in "she's sooo lashed". usually after the person in question has persisted in saying she/he was right.
