well waht happens if you work with computers for a living? you get access to soooooo many more excuses
1. Three words - Fatal Exception Error
2. Im sure it was on this disk (make sure you have several floppy disks on you)
3. But I emailed it to you yesterday. (generally a last resort)
4. Bring in a disk with a document called hwk.doc (or something similar) but make sure that the ciomputers where you are cannot read that format. (not exactly an excuse but it happened on a farly regular basis whilst I was at uni what with them running at least 3 differnt versions of MSword.)
maybe some more tommorow.

Thanks for those.... computers do open up realms of opportunities... At school the network *always* went down the day before a deadline.. either that or the printer died.
Sorry it took me so long to answer, BTW

The "John" technique (as invented and perfected by my friend whilst doing coursework...)
1. Put disk in to drive.
2. Start copying file on to disk.
3. Remove disk half way through the copying.
4. Enjoy your newly corrupted file!
5. Complain to teachers about 'incompatibilities', 'system problems' and 'disk errors'.
Enjoy your extra week!
