Nice piece and all that. Seems complete and a fine length for the subject matter. Several mentions were made about the level of LARP popularity, and I was just wondering which country was being referred too in the piece.

The whole Entry is about the UK, as that's the LARPing community I'm familar with.

As this is a BBC website, I was pretty certain that a United States context would have been caught during PR or editing. I just wanted to be sure.

I suspect that the U.S. has some as well, as might Australia, Ireland, Wales, etc. I wonder where it is most popular; but that may change over time anyway.

Gee, since we're likely to have several countries represented in this PR thread, perhaps we should chime in with how the LARPers are perceived - by country.

I know that there are occasional commercials, comedy skits, and internet jokes surrounding the concept that I see. But, we all know that mockery is the sincerest form of ..., um, ..., er ...
