You'd be surprised... I know a few people who LARP, but don't 'do' normal roleplaying games.

I but I daresay it depends on why the don't do the usual. In my case it was mostly because I could never get the hang of the rules... So a six on the dice means what again? Too much maths I suspect.

The rules in LARP games tend to be a lot simpler than those in table-top roleplay... no dice for a start (well, there are *some* groups that use dice rolls to determine the outcome of a character's actions, we call them Live Inaction Roleplay)!
Not that I would ever try to 'sell' what I think is a fantastic and rewarding hobby...
