How I knew... Well, my dear fellow (as a well-known detective would say), there were rumours about a kitty that liked doughnuts very much . Then, there were small pieces of doughnuts hanging in your whiskers, and I figured that you couldn't drink milk without a straw

Then again, the number of times I've read them...well...I've read them a lot!

I see... A lot... hm... Probably not as often as me, though... I usually read them in January and July every year, that is, every 6 months, and I've been doing this for... er... 5 years...
