Komodo Dragons are lazy and prefer not to fight so rather than hunting and fighting their food, they lie in ambush and take one bite at passing animals. They not only have 32 razor sharp serrated teeth that could cut through buffalo hide, but there is also a bacteria called pastuerella multocida in their saliva that will kill the victim within 72 hours but something in their blood makes them immune to it which is necessary because their gums are always bleeding. Also, dragons will eat young dragons so the young spend their first 2-3 years in trees for protection while living off of insects, birds, and geckos.
