What a wonderfully sentimental, funny and witty way to express your grief and thanks. I'm sure it's what many of us would like to convey but simply don't have the gift of words you obviously posses.
On another subject, it's nice to see there's another fellow metalhead in our midst, thus dispelling the myth that all metalheads are thick-skulled, moronic, headbangers whose vocab consists of "dude."

I don't know... You try and do something original...
I agree with all of the above. It was poignant and pretty reflective of the general mood. Well done and thanks

I don't know what to say. Thank you for appreciating it, I suppose. I just let the words come out and there they were, on the page. BTW, which thing that I wrote were you talking about? I wrote a few....

It was one of the most beautiful things I've read in a long time. Thank you.

The one where you talked about DNA's family getting annoyed with him for leaving the lid off the tub of margarine.

OK. You know, this really makes me happy. My life sucks so badly at the moment, what with my engagement breaking up and losing my job and DNA dying and all... ( ), but given that DNA was the one who inspired me to really love writing, you know, sort of twisting the language round until it obeys you and stuff the conventional rules sort of writing, it is immensely gratifying to know that here, on a page created by him, I can use the gift he gave me to give something back. This really does mean a lot.
