Furtive Scribblings at Work
Greetings all from the depths of the workplace. The best time to indulge in meaningless discourse must be when one is on the clock and the boss and his second are running errands.
I've been a fan of H2G2 since the '70s when the radio programme first aired in the United States. My classmates would have found it odd, my quoting the show ceaselessly - except that I was already quoting Star Wars and Monty Python to no end. One more eccentricity didn't make me any stranger, apparently.
I've joined and dropped out of several other internet communities which turned out to be nothing more than proving grounds for the small-minded or date 'n' mate organizations thinly disguised as discussion groups. H2G2 seems to be one of the only places were I can read until my eyeballs fall out and be constantly amazed and amused by the variety and intelligence herein.
For more info on me, go to "Sue Lee" in the staff section of www.centurymedia.com (the boss demanded we all have one, so I made mine as rediculous as possible).
