I believe in Calvin as much as I believe in Hobbes. They typify everything that is great about having an imagination. The comic world was a much finer place with them in it.

What about the time Calvin travelled with Hobbes on a magic carpet to his dad's place of work? Why, oh why, didn't his dad stare out the window at the right time?
It might have shut him up on this "character forming" lark for good...
