OK...I reckon I could handle GuideML, and I'm told that if I press a button, the tags menu will appear. But WHERE is the button. Ah cannae see one!

Similarly - I'm told that I can press a button to submit an entry (mine or someone else's) for peer review. Again....WHERE is this button? In my journal? In a conversation. Can't see one in either place.

(As a matter of policy, can't we have Help text that says "Click the button " ?)

The button to submit entries for review is in the upper right hand corner of the page in the sidebar on pages that are eligible to be submitted. If you're using the default skin, it is simply clickable blue text that says 'Submit for Review' or something to that effect.

I'll have to do a little digging to see about the GuideML (if someone more knowledgable doesn't beat me to it), it's been a long time since I've seen any of the pages. I'll see what I can come up with.

Okay, best I can tell, there is a list of tags you can use on the main GuideML page which you can find here: A187229

If you're using the default skin, when you go to an Edit page there will be a row of tag buttons at the top of the edit box that you can use to automatically install the tags for you.

If neither of these is what you're referring to, can you give me an idea of where it says to just press a button so I can see what it's talking about?

From what you've said, I wonder if perhaps there's something not clicking for you here.

There are two main ways of writing things on h2g2 --

You can write things in conversation threads -- this includes what we have right here, and your journal entries as well. Writing in this category cannot use GuideML and cannot be submitted to Peer Review.

You can write guide entries. These can use GuideML (or not) and can be submitted to Peer Review (or not).

This entry that you've written -- A2943452 -- both uses GuideML and is currently in Peer Review, so I'm not entirely sure what you're needing to know?

He asked his question here before submitting to PR, we got it sorted .

He had created a journal entry instead of a regular entry.
