Just a note to Welcome you to the ranks of the ACEs

When I started I found <./>A573833</.> So you Want to be a good Ace - to be a really good place to start. It's a little out of date now but it sets out some of the the "conventions" that we use.

I have made a "Hints and Links for New Researchers" page at <./>A719840</.> you are more than welcome to use it at any time for your Welcomes if you find that it’s useful.

Also, for a quick reference you may like to include this great page from Alex Tufty Ashman – A28749630

I suggest that you start by putting together a Welcome message - I'm sure that the other ACEs will help you with some hints and stuff

Yes, h2g2 Volunteers are also members of Yahoo Groups so they can discuss stuff off-site. Perhaps a kindly ACE will explain more...

The email will give you access to the ACE's yahoo group. This is where we can, firstly, welcome you to the group.. and where you can leave messages if you are concerned about anything at all regarding your ACEing activities

ie If a researcher asks a question you cannot answer
