I don't know about anywhere else, but here in Oz (Sunny down under) the much revered Triumph "Bonnie" has been re-released as a new 2001 model motorcycle - Seems Style never goes out of fashion

Yeah, it was released here in Britain at the same time, and sold very well indeed. They also produced a 'Millenium' edition at the end of 2001, which looks very mean.
Most of the big manufacturers produce at least one retro bike now, notably the Kawasaki WD60, although they look a little tinny against the Bonnie.
I am very seriously considering getting one, or maybe a Triumph Thunderbird.

I personally like the 'refinements' offered by the likes of the Sprint ST - WE got lot's of looonnnggg distances in Oz

yeah, they released it in the US at the same time too. No Millenium Edition here though. I also like the Sprint ST. the new Speed Triple is a great lookin bike.
