An Encouraging Sign

My math professor always hands back the answer key to problems before handing back quizzes or tests.
So before handing back a quiz today, he handed out a xeroxed copy of my quiz.
Now THAT is an encouraging sign.

Wow! That is indeed encouraging.

I'd put a copy on the Internet for all to see, though it would both reveal my name and horrid handwriting.

Not that we would use your name to try to find your location. Just forget all about the location bit.

Yes. Especially considering the fact that I've blatantly mentioned what college I attend at least seven times over the past three years.
I'd think more than two of you would've found me by now.

Well, I heard the rumors that Sporky had found you. I was apparently not paying attention when you mentioned your school. I know it's in Indiana. Which is close enough for you to come to the Hillbilly Meet next summer.

I'm pretty sure Marv knows where Affi is. I myself do not though.

Last I knew, only Witty and GL had figured it out. If Sporky knows, it's news to me.

Hypatia Posted Nov 18, 2005
Actually, I believe it was Marv who suggested that Sporky knows. Perhaps I misunderstood him.
It looks like GL has gone for good.

GL isn't gone for good. My longest hootoo absence still just barely outpaces his current one. He's just been very drained and very busy lately (I keep in touch with him via eMail). Once life settles down again and he has some free time to kill, he'll be back.

That's good to know. I like GL. Thanks for passing that information along.

Witty Moniker Posted Nov 18, 2005
That's good to hear. I did wonder what he has been up to. We haven't heard from him since just before he was supposed to move into his new house. I was hoping it was just a case of life being very busy.

It's a lot of things, really.
Oh, and he's discovered a wonderful pirate-game website. That can eat up hootoo time as well. Kind of like my fascination with reading webcomics.

ALl I know is *where* Affy attends school. I've tried to trick his name out of him to no avail.
