Or, really, I mean... since she wrote a journal.
Good news.
I've been the assistant features editor at my paper for over a month, and in that time, I've had four articles published.
More good news.
I just heard from the publisher at Ravenhawk Books in Tucson, Arizona. He received my sample chapters and they are "Under Review". YAY!!!
Bestest news.
I am going to see Ian in less than a few weeks. I'll be in England only a brief time... but still, better than nothing. My uncle from Virginia will be visiting us Dec 27th-Jan 2nd... the London Meet is on January 10th... I think I might take another trip to England on Jan 2nd, but I'll need to be back here by the 18th because I'll need to help on the paper on Monday the 19th.
Also good news.
I registered for my final semester of college. Well, of a four year college... It's strange!!! But exciting!!! But SCARY!!!! I only need two courses... I've thought about taking a couple of neato journalism ones, but I've never had Beginning Journalism, so I don't qualify, how's that!??
Someday I may go back in to school...
But right now, I'm not being a good student!!!

If you find that you don't have time to rock *and* roll,
maybe you could pick the one that does the most for
you, and focus on it. To rock or to roll,
that is the question.

My problem - staying up until it's time to wake up. Which defies all possible laws of life and science it's not funny.

I think about the only thing you can do is
sleep for, like, 18 hours straight. Too much
sleep would be betetr for you than too little.
But I could be wrong.

Insomnia is one tune I've heard before.
Although, I guess it was described charmingly
when Julie Andrews sang:
Sleep, sleep, I couldn't sleep tonight.
My head's too light to try to set it down.
Bed, bed, I couldn't go to bed,
Not for all the jewels in the crown.
I could have danced all night....

Did Julie Andrews sing that!?? I don't think so.... NO... that was sung by Miss Eliza Doolite in My Fair Lady. Miss Eliza was played by Audrey Hepburn.
Woah. I can't believe Paul got something wrong!!!
Woooaaahh....
Easy mistake to make. Those English accents can be confusing, and Miss Eliza does look an awful lot like Mary Poppins!!!

Dragonfly, Audrey Hepburn did *not* sing
that song. She just mouthed the words, while
Marni Nixon dubbed in the singing.
Julie Andrews originated the role of Eliza
Doolittle on 1956 on Broadway.
She was only 18 at the time. Her acting was not
great. Rex Harrison threatened to pull out of
the show if she didn't improve, so Moss Hart
took Julie aside one weekend for some acting
lessons. On Monday, Julie was good enough
to pass muster with Rex. I expect Julie
will discuss this in her memoirs.
