As you may have noticed, two new email buttons have appeared both on the front page of <./>ThePost</.> and at the Post Office. The first, labelled 'Article Submissions' is the one you should use to submit any work for inclusion in The Post. The second, labelled 'Editorial Feedback', should only be used to point out errors in articles. General comments or questions about The Post and contributing should be addressed to us on-site.

Using the correct submission procedure will ensure that your submissions and comments get to us and that we respond promptly.

It is and bloody helpful to the poor overworked Post Staff

will try and comply, but since I use web-mail, the buttons just cause all sorts of programs that I don't want to open to appear (I'd prefer if some ISPs really belive that I have left the country again)

but will try and get everything sent with correct address and subject line

Well, the e-mail address is the same in both cases:

postteam at gmail dot com

The subject line is what differs, and it's important that it is correct:

For submissions, the subject line should read 'Article Submission' (without the ' ')

For feedback, the subject line should read 'Editorial Feedback' (again, without the ' ')

Now the beauty of using Firefox with the Google toolbar, is that when you click on a webmail link, it opens a Gmail window in a new tab, instead of trying to launch Outlook Express.
