Hi! New H2G2 Researcher member, didn't find it before, could you like me?. On my site is a link to SETI, h2g2 Researchers and here but it's nothing fancy as I don't know how to do things like that (If you explain I can put the fancy logo on the link)
Cheers,
Nick.

Hi Nick,
I'd be happy to add you, as soon as I know with what name you entered the group. Your H2G2-name is not on the SETI@home list, and none of the names there is linked to your page here.
Also, you linked to "A195879" and named it "H2G2 SETI Centre", but I would rather see that you linked to "A193231" and named it "The SETI@home Project". I will not object to an *additional* link to "A195879", but then I'd like it if you gave that link the name it officially has, being "Meet the H2G2-researchers for SETI@home"
I hope you can respect these wishes, and will gladly get link to you once I know which member you are.
Thanks for adding your power to the team-effort,
The Mummy.

Err, yer, oops, sory, I'll sort it.
I'll get those links changed, awfully sorry.
My name on the list is Deep Thought (hmm, yes well).
Thanks very much,
Nick Bailey

Hmm, you appear to be correct... Perfect! I can make use of that
People who use the same name with SETI@home as they do here, don't need to type anything at all.
Thanks for testing that and... don't tell me... "no worries"

this is rather odd... I wonder- does it work? If it does, what infernal use can I make of it?????? BWAHAHAHHA!

OH, I was wondering... why don't I have any links? My page is U99947 , and I'm already in seti (142 results received)

You are not linked, Sporky, because there is no link from your intro-page to A193231 ("The SETI@home Project") either.
If you had ever cared to read the full contents of my pages, you would have known that I decided not to give free links from the SETI@home project. A link from this site is a 'fee' for those who advertise for our team and thereby draw more peoples' attention to it.

Researcher 99947 Posted May 8, 2000
Ah, I'm sorry... I used to have one, before one of the numerous disappearances of my homepage... it is on it's 23 incarnation. I will promptly supply the link again (you're right- I didn't read )
