A message from Li-Li of the Offspring Twins!

What songs can you play on your guitar? Any songs that you like by bands that you like? My brother used to be able to play 'One' by Metallica when he played guitar, but he gave up playing the guitar. I sometimes go into the loft, and have a go on his guitar, but I don't know how to play it properly. And do you own an electric or an acoustic guitar? We've got both, except the acoustic guitar hasn't got all of it's strings, and the electric one isn't tuned in. Oh well!
Hope to see a reply from you soon,
Li-Li

Basically, anything I like, I can play(including "One"!). I also have both guitars. You should do what I did if you want to know how to play: use the net. I never took lessons or got taught anything except from my own trial and error. Go to http://www.harmonycentral.com, click on Guitar Tablature, and look around. Eventually you'll end up doing SOMETHING right after months of endlessly playing nothing, believe me.

P.S. I can play quite a few Offspring songs!
P.P.S. Go buy some strings and a tuner!

Have you got guitar books that have Offspring songs in them, or did you download the music off of the net? I know you can download guitar tabs off of the internet, because I saw them on the official Offspring website. Also, do you know how to play the songs from just hearing the notes, or do you need the music for them? I can play other instruments 'by ear', but not the guitar, as I haven't been in the loft recently to try it out!

I get 99.999999% of everything I know from the net. I do some things by ear, but of course some stuff is too hard to just go and figure out. Methinks I'll take a look at the Offspring website. Not too many bands put their own tabs up!

El Prez,
I tried the link that you suggested, and it wasn't working for some freakish reason! I'll try again later. Did you find the tabs on the Offspring website? If you didn't, I must have seen them on some other page, but there you go!
Hope to hear from you soon!

There are tabs on the official UNOFFICIAL Offspring page, which has a link on the official page. http://www.harmonycentral.com/Guitar/tab.html
There's the link directly to the site I talked about.

I managed to access the Offspring tabs, and I will probably get some of it off of the Internet some time! By the way, talking of the Internet, besides on H2G2, have you got your own website? If so, put your link up, because I would like to see it! I haven't got a site of my own, because I am not sure of how to create one, so I'm currently making do with my little spot on H2G2!
Write again soon!

I don't have my own site because, like many other people, I have nothing at all to say of actual importance on it. Unfortunately, this does not stop most people from still making one. Next to all those "My Links" "My Friends" "Stuff I Like" links, everyone needs to have an "I'm a useless website creator and this is a useless website" disclaimer.

Hope you don't mind me butting in, but I've just started an opinion poll on my page that might be of interest. It's a "bottom of the pops" poll, in which I'm asking people to choose the pop act they consider to be the most maddening and moronic in the world.
Do you know, El P, I think I might be able to guess who you'd want to vote for...
