Just got back from day one of PAX06, and what an afternoon it's turned out to be. As I'm typing this up on my psp I'll have to be brief.
I've signed up for Tetris and Mario Kart DS tournaments tomorrow and Sunday respectively. I'm going to get trounced!
Co-op play Katamari Damacy is madder than an infinite number of badger filled sacks.
Bawls (an energy drink) is nectar of the flying spaghetti monster. The slush version is nicer still. They need to ship it to the UK.

"Classic" 80s video game movie, The Wizard is a bigger laugh when the entire audience are gamers and "contributing" to the dialogue.
I must join queues earlier. Missed getting into tonight's concert as a result. Could do with an earlyish night anyway.

Co-op play Katamari Damacy?
That sounds great! I've got it on my PS2 - Mark and I find it hard enough to play with just the two of us!
I hope you had a great time!

Yeah that's the one. The game's a challenge with just one person, getting two co-ordinated to just walk in a straight line is a whole new story.
It was great and I'd definately do it again even if it means 36 hours of shenanigans to get home again (see my follow up journals about that one if you haven't already).

True, but think of all the places Croz has been to: Copenhagen, Frankfurt... they're really nice towns

At the time I thought it was hilarious, it's only now where I'm trying to recover from jet lag as well as carry on as close to normal with work where I realise just how daft it actually was.

I still think it's incredible what happened there, it reminded me of my very first flight to a London meet where my flight was delayed for six hours ( but in the beginning it wasn't sure how long oit would take), and BA gave us a voucher of € 4,50 - just try and buy some food for this sum in the airport. Yet, reading what you have gone through, I guess I was still lucky
