h2g2 The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy: Earth Edition

I found out that chuffin' upper management and the board of governors are landing me in a very deep and very full cesspit. They have "approved" rollout of national office's new scheme software. Not a big deal you say? Actually it is.

You see they want it rolled out county wide by the end of March.

So we've got to squeeze 18 months of testing plus a two week migration per branch including staff training (with 10 branches you're realistically talking 5 months for a complete rollout) into 12 weeks.

Needless to say the only way I'm going to pull this off without getting a severe reprimand is to totally write off my remaining 12 days leave that I have left to take before April, cancel the few days off I booked after the January meet, and try not to have a nervous breakdown through only having taken just 10 days off in the past year due to all the other stupid projects they've had me doing. Perfecting the art of human cloning, stop time, and reanimating the dead would also help. I would sell my soul to the devil, but I wrote a note ages ago promising it to somebody else.

I wonder if things could get any worse...
