There's always the ever-popular Strom Thurmond, too. 
Did you know he STILL holds the Senate record for longest filibuster by one man? He was up there for 23 hours straight, arguing against the Civil Rights Act, I think. This guy is STILL in office.

you know what's weird? His wife is really nice. One of our plumbers went out to their house. Federal Marshalls searches the plumber and the van before he could go inside.

Well, of COURSE she's nice. She's a freakin' Senator's wife. She doesn't have to do ANYTHING. Ever.
Well, except pretending she actually likes the guy. Blech. From what I remember of her, I think she was either 33 or 44 when he was 88. I'm sure she loves him for his body...
