Like yourself, most UK students had gone home for Chrimbo. Some of the US ones had too. So it got a little slow here.

I was half expecting to get at least a little time online but as my dad had moved our computer to his new office it was a bit difficult to get access. I just had enough time to read the couple of emails I missed. And that was two days before christmas. The next time I got online was yesterday. I hadn't even started unpacking. I think I am still slightly addicted. Absence makes the heart grow fonder etc.

I hope my sister knows that, Dads computer just when phutt once more and it wont connect to the modem. She's going to miss so many interesting people on ICQ. All together now AAhhhhhhhh.

And you can meet loads of people on ICQ, if you are female. Loads of lonely blokes seem to search out girls on ICQ. My sister has a list of about 40 people. I only end up talking to other Researchers.

Some of my friends from back home (that is home prior to my parents changing country) have it but I never worked up the courage to actually contact them. Some of their websites have disturbed me, I am wondering whether I really want to know them.
