Eyup!
Normally I travel down by train, so that costs about £35-£40 return, depending on how early the ticket is booked, and then the hotel costs about £70 a night. There's probably cheaper accomodation, such as Serephina's house, but I'm a creature of habit and book the same hotel next to Euston station meet after meet. If you take into account travel, accomodation, food and drink, it'll come to somewhere around £150 or more depending on how sloshed you intend on getting

Wow £150 squid ,Thats quite alot of dosh for one day tho. and so close to christmas n all ..I'll be absolutly brassic by that time, specially after my want alot for christmas, and 2prezzies alone will cost over £200 ,I think i'll have to sell me soul to the devil or summat.
Don't all those southern breeds ever come up to Manchester for any meets??
Anyway when is the next Manc meet-up,I probably would never go to one of the curry crawls you have, only for the fact that i can't do spicey stuff,i'm a very fussy eater me yunno.,now if you was all going for a pizza or summat then that would be a different matter
Awww who's calling you a freak??,just give them a poke in the eyeball, preferbly with a sharp pointy stick

I'm still in two minds about going. Yeah I want to but I sort of can't be arsed also.
It's only £150 if you stop in a hotel. If you can find a local researcher to crash at you can essentially do a meet for almost gratis.
As for Manchester meets, I don't think there's one on the cards before the New Year, but I could be wrong. Best place to ask would be the flat cap and muffler pages.
The people calling me a freak are my work colleagues - my boss, the Deputy Chief Exec, the Chief Exec, their PA, the whole HR team, the whole Finance team, and the branch next door. Apparently having cheese and bacon on a toasted currant teacake is just plain wrong. I would put them straight but I don't want to get sacked before christmas.
Key: Complain about this post
