h2g2 The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy: Earth Edition

I am a complete newbie at writing, both here and writing code, and find I usually get something wrong, and then spend ages figuring it out.
I have a website which I made using frontpage, which is easy, and also lets you use, and copy, the code.
So my question is, if I prepared my submissions in frontpage, then simply copy and pasted the complete coded page, would it work here, i.e., is it compatable.
Any help would be much appreciated

Some of it would be compatible but other things wouldn't be. For example, the paragraph tags are the same in GuideML as in HTML, but the break tags here have to be self-closing . The IMG tag used to be partly disabled but is now back in operation. However the GuideML PICTURE tag is what you need to use to let people see the white or goo versions of an image according to their skin type.

So although you could generate some code using your software, you would still have to check its output against the local rules.

Thanks for the offer of future help. I just hope you don't live to regret such an offer to a middle aged numbskull who struggles to come to terms with modern tech stuff (we still had wooden pens with replaceable metal knibs you dipped in the inkwell, when I started school).
I noticed on your page you come from Frimley, a place I knew well long ago, when serving in the army at Deepcut.
