Best band poll sounds good, although we must keep specific. If we ask 'whats the best band in the world we will have everything from Queen to the Spice Girls to Gilbert & Sullivan.
Everybody out there, if you prefer different guitarists, don't tell this forum, go to the link a litte way above me. OK?

Well, we could divide the bands into genres.
Metal bands, punk bands, blues bands, glam rock bands, death metal thrash metal etc.
We may have to do the same with those guitarists. If it carries on at it's current rate, it'll be a monster!
But, actually, I can see that of being part of the fun. Scrolling down a massive list to see how your favourite guitarist is doing.

Did you add our own opinions to that list? i'm just not sure.
Quite an interesting top, ahem, '5' we've started, hey ho.

Yup, I added us two's.
I figured, if you still wanted a page on guitar gods, we can do what they do on the Animated Heroes website. Every month there the owner tots up the votes and adds a page for the hero that has gained the most votes.
And we can do that here!
That will encourage me to take in what Jimi X said.
I have already written a page for Eric Clapton ('tis quite old), and I'm sure there'll be somebody willing to do others.
Mrgrunt, looks like it's down to you to do one on Mark Knopfler!

I've submitted it to Peta's Picks.
Check the front page, and you'll see my lyric archive up there!
So now I'm not sure if Peta will put up the guitar job thing next time round.
I hope she does!

well a lot of publicity should do the trick. I want to see this thing grow, the results in, say, a months time should be v intersting.
As it's going now, it's suprising me. For once, Eric Clapton has more acclaim than Jimi Hendrix!
I noticed Jimi X has been doing advertising too. Without my asking. How kind!

I clicked, and it said "dis page can't be accesed mate".
The lyric archive works by having a list of albums under the band that did them. Do if you have say, dIRE sTRAITS, then under that you'd have the lyrics for their albums "doobee poobee" and "zooky-wakka".
Please can you do album lyruics as guide entries? Please? I could then link them to the archive. It's worth the copy'n'pasting!
I'm about to add the Iron Maiden album by none other than Iron Maiden!

Ok, i'll do that, the reason it wouldn't work was that it was a dodgy link.
Then when I tried the correct link, all the hyper-links were missing.
I've just spent ten minutes HTML'ing trying to get my website up to speed again. (Bloody Geocities)

Yeh, Geoshities can suck ass sometimes. Real bad.
My websites going up with Freeserve. They don't offer me any advantages, it's just the ISP I'm with.
Look out for a Secret Of NIMH website from me in about two weeks!

I prefer it when I get contributions in album-loads. But you took the effort, and I have added those to the archive. Congratulations!
I'll fix up the link to your homepage tomorrow as it's getting a bit late now, ok?
