h2g2 The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy: Earth Edition

I'm trying to get some interest going for a forum on collecting ... I really wanted to write an article but I suppose I ought to follow the rules and stick to pre-existing articles...

Anyway, this is a polite request . Can you contribute a bit about your DVD collecting ... what sort of stuff do you collect, what's your favourite' how much, how often, level of obsession etc.

Thank you, honey, you're an angel . I have visited a couple of other people's entries on their collections and grovelled for attention - do you think this is acceptable behaviour? I wasn't rude or anything. i even smiled on accassions - but then my mother alsways warned me about being approached by smiling strangers asking weird questions.

Sorry to hear about the lack of ADSL action.

I went to your home page and checked out the sites you had posted to requesting info from collectors. Sometimes it's just amazing what people will collect. A friend of mine long ago used to collect matchbooks. She had matchbooks from all over the world, made from all different kinds of materials, some plain, some hand-painted.

Give it some time. Some people don't check into H2G2 on a day to day basis like you and I. I think you're putting together a guide entry and are eager to get material to work with.

Work's slow at the moment, hence my presence is currently shifted here for the most part. As for ADSL, I've been informed that it should be fixed this afternoon, but I'm not holding my breath. Phone companies are so cruel, giving someone ADSL and then just taking it away like that. Cruelty, I tell you!
