Rockin' all over the next world

I said a last goodbye to my Grandma today. She died, aged 91, the weekend before last. I was, of course, saddened by her passing, but it was one of those situations where it really was a mercy. She'd been in very poor health for a long time, and could no longer enjoy life. R.I.P., Gran.
But one thing brightened up the sombre day. As my family stood in the reception area of the Chapel of Rest, waiting for another funeral service to end and ours to begin, we heard something entirely unexpected: Status Quo's 'Rockin' All Over The World'! At first, we were shocked at the incongruity - and then realisation dawned, and I said: 'Well, obviously someone wanted to headbang their way into the next world!'
It got me thinking about what I'd like played at my funeral, and I settled on R.E.M.'s 'Everybody Hurts' - a beautiful message of consolation for those left behind.
Anyway, maybe somewhere over West Yorkshire, there's now an in a frayed blue denim robe, with an air guitar instead of a harp.

I think I would like "Shine On You Crazy Diamond" played at mine. Also to inappropriote Punk Rock!!
Having said that by the time I die (hopefully) Punk Rock aught to be considered almost classical!

I think I'll opt for 'The Last Laugh' by Mark Knopfler

Now you have me thinking Ormy. I think that "Comfortably Numb" might be a go, or "I wanna be sedated". Possibly "Beautiful Day"...

Ormy I felt the same when we lost my Nain at 97.
I think it would have to be either Hell's Bells or Led Zep's Rain Song
