Look, I know I don't get on h2g2 as much as I used to anymore, but if people just want to run off with conversations without being patient enough to wait for me to reply then I'll begin to wonder why the hell they came to my space in the first place, instead of to someone else's.

Let's see, I have a varied, interesting, busy job, that doesn't involve h2g2 anymore (not in the sense that I get to spend time on it anyway), so it's not surprising that I can't keep up with you two, who
came very close to me taking my bad temper on you both. 
Who don't deserve it. Well, not much anyway.
I feel like I'm having to leave home because the neighbourhood has gone down hill so much (not you two). D'you want to know what I said to Peta at work on Monday? Something that sounded scarily like 'how many more will be driven away'? And it scared the shit out of me to hear that come out of my gob. Blues Shark will know why that scared me...
I think I'm trying to hold onto something. And I don't know if it gives me what I want anymore, or if I'm just hanging on because it's a habit.
Life is very perculiar for me at the moment. I feel like I'm caught in a maelstrom.

Evenings aren't a good time for me at the moment. Nor afternoons, nights, or mornings. I have a severe case of the 'can't be arsed' and I'm getting bored with it, but can't shift it. 
We have no clean washing, no clean cups, and we're about to be late for school...
