Great photo - I like the structure of Echinops Globe Thistles 
Coincidentally I saw the one in my mum's garden just today, and it is at about the same stage of growth as this one 
Will look spectacular when the whole flowers open, and the bees will love them

We have some wonderful thistles. I hope to have photos of them in a month or two. The goldfinches love thistle for making their nests
