I can not understand ? why the noted zoologists and animal biologists etc in South Africa, have NOT found/seen ? your work Willem! (and looked at it all of course)
It is worthy to be duly noted amongst "professionals in the field of animal studies"

What Paulh, no lizards in Massachusetts? That's tragic! We have many dozens of species here in Limpopo alone!
Prof, there AREN'T 'noted' zoologists and animal biologists in South Africa. That is to say, there's very little going on right now. There are folks at universities, professors, doctors, and I know a whole bunch of them, but they don't really have much power or influence. They're just folks trying to make a difference. Society as a whole couldn't care less about conservation work or biology or stuff like that. Despite South Africa being one of the world's treasures, biodiversity-wise, there's hardly any awareness or appreciation of the fact.
I'm working with several professors and doctors actually, and with Ruan and all I'm making some actual scientific contributions. This year I helped a student complete her honours dissertation about a seriously endangered plant. So I'm working in the field. But there's NO MONEY and precious little recognition in it ...

Willem! I've no words as such in one way, but my other words are:- I wish it was possible for you to emigrate my friend especially to a country where "institutions" would give you :- 1 a research type job/grant and 2 recognition in your field of animal studies etc"
You know my thoughts on your "drawings" and descriptions of each animal you do =
