I want an answer to that age-old question: which was knitted first, the chicken or the egg?smiley - chick

Caiman raptor elk - Inside big box, thinking.

Depends on the type of egg. If it is just any old egg, it would win with a huge lead. If it has to be a chicken egg, we are back to quantum again. The first real chicken had to be coming from an egg, but who laid it then, if that was not a chicken?

I will probably have to revert to the "starting vs becoming" argument for that. Or ask the person who first named the chicken.
