Well, as far as I understood the Middle Ages are quite a fuzzy period, meaning the dates are not quite clear and everyone has their own opinion, but it is some time between the 5th and the 7th Century. I said that more clearly now. I decided to follow the opinion that the end of the Migration Period seems like a good date.

I think you're on safe ground with those dates. We don't want to go on and on about the fall of the Roman Empire, Theodoric the Great, Attila the Hun, and other boring subjects. Besides,'Middle Ages' is just a temporally provincial label on the part of those self-promoting poseurs in the Renaissance.
