Appropriate for Valentine's Day.
The Centenarian I most admire had Gracie Allen. For thirty-two years he made monthly pilgrimages to her gravesite to talk to her. That's almost as long as he was married to her.
My father almost become a centenarian. He missed it by 11 months. He loved my mother for 75 years, of which 71 years comprised their marriage.
Comatose ex-presidents?
