Having read PedanticBarSteward's Post articles about Morocco, I went. However, there is very little about this wonderful place on H2G2 - so there is the first of my gap fillers.

I like this too, PT. Thanks for helping fill this gap, I wish we had more entries on Morocco or northern Africa for that matter. And I also like the personal story entries.

I enjoyed reading the article, but I'm afraid the question I was left with is 'what makes buying a Moroccan carpet different from getting one from somewhere else in North Africa or Arabia?'
If I wanted to go somewhere hot and buy a carpet, why should I go to Morocco and not, say, Turkey?

Good entry!
I'd leave out the word "stupid" near the end as it suggests it is not a good idea to buy a carpet. The rest of the entry is based around the idea that this is something you want to do.

I have replaced "stupid" with "bulky" - although when you are getting ready to come home, the two words can become synonymous in one's thinking.
The first paragraph should now be clear that the guide is for visitors to Morocco who are going to buy something while they are there, rather than go there to buy a carpet. I would love to write a piece of comparative carpet buying by region and type but, alas, my field research budget has been spent for this year.

I agree, a good Entry. I only found the title misleading. Should it rather be 'buying a carpet in Morocco?'.

Your Guide Entry has just been picked from Peer Review by one of our Scouts, and is now heading off into the Editorial Process, which ends with publication in the Edited Guide. We've moved this Review Conversation out of Peer Review and to the entry itself.
If you'd like to know what happens now, check out the page on 'What Happens after your Entry has been Recommended?' at EditedGuide-Process. We hope this explains everything.
Thanks for contributing to the Edited Guide!

Congratulations for me as well!
Would you like some or may be
would go down a bit better?
*pulls out comfy chair and pours a couple of drinks*
while I'm here could I ask a favour?
It sounds as though you may very well have bought a carpet? If so, I don't suppose you could take a photo of it for us could you? If not no probs, (but let us know)...but if you could it would help out a great deal
If you find one or take one could you email it to: artists at h2g2 dot com with a suitable heading so it wont get missed?
Thanking you in anticipation....
Rosie

I would love to (because, yes I did). However, I am going to be in Rome for the next few days and will be unable to photograph anything smaller than the coliseum until late next week.
