Good morning, even though slightly frosty today. Just been to get my bike out ready for work and found another lovely present that one of the cats insists on leaving for me, usually on the seat of the Triumph or draped elegantly over the front wheel rim.
Why the cat(s) see fit to adorn my bike with bits of dead rodent is beyond me, maybe its the next big thing in motorcycle customs, maybe its just a feline biker thingy, who knows? So far this weekend poor Zafod the Triumph has had three voles, two field mice, an unidentified blob of brown fur, two small birds and the back ends of three rats!
Whilst I can appreciate nature, and applaud the natural hunting ability of two house born kitties, and accept that living with vast tracts of countryside behind my back garden walls, I am getting slightly miffed with having to scrub bits of wildlife off my leather and paintwork.
I've tried different bike covers, sprays that are supposed to keep cats away from your valuables, blocking up the tiniest holes that may give the hunters access to my garage, all to no avail. Only solution seems to go with the feline flow and turn old Zafod into some macabre rodent themed ride...in all my years I've never owned a 'rat' bike, (yeah they exist, look them up!) maybe the cats are trying to tell me something!

They are placing their sacrifices at the altar of Zafod. There's definitely something they know that we don't.

s always find a way, FWR.
George brought in a field mouse the other day, I think he wanted to 'play' with it in the kitchen. I think it's still here somewhere.

Rat bike?
That seems even to me. On the other hand, I imagine that rats would catch a lot more quickly if they were on wheels.
