h2g2 The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy: Earth Edition

Season 21 is approaching its climax, the final week will be the weekend of the 21st January, Week Thirteen. Despite a surprisingly good season for Mu Beta, and Otto recovering from a slow start to surge up the table, we're shaping up for Alfredo and 603 to battle for the title.

It would make sense to have another game for the last few months of the season. I, however, quite like the idea of just playing the game rather than organising it as well, so I was wondering if anyone else fancied organising Season 22. If no-one does, I'm happy to carry on, but if anyone does fancy organising it, just let it be known here and I'll gladly cede control (and maybe my replacement would be organised enough to remember to post fixtures every week without prompting, and work out extra time and own goals in a dance rather than making it up as they go along).

Anyone?

The right hash I've made of this week has, I think, definitely made up my mind not to run the next season. I'm not one of life's natural organisers, and I don't think I've made a very good job of this season, so I think I've realised why I gave up organising this in the first place.

So if someone could please volunteer, I could go to my pleasant level of semi-engagedness that serves me well the rest o the time.

If you're desperate I would consider giving it a go. Can't be that much work eh

I have considered this during the hiatus of the last few years but really I just don't have the time sadly.

Can I just say though - that piss-taking aside yesterday - you're doing/have done a damn fine job Egon. It's appreciated by me at least.

I definitely don't think I'll be doing it again, so knock yourself out! The current season is ending next weekend, 21st/22nd January.

Like ending up being the Secretary and Treasurer of Greenbank Wanderers all over again huh Yakus !
