Damn it not again... I hate it when my posts disappear...
Anyhoo...
On the subject of Bob Crow. Speaking as a union rep, my primary concern in these situations would not be the fluid functioning of the job, but the safty of my people and any members of the public that possibly might be concerned.
I would not care two jots if no work got done as long as all my people are safe. I think what Crow is saying is that professionals need to check the trains for suspect packages before he will allow his people to be put at risk.
I say that man.

I knew someone who was caught in a bombing a few years ago, although I honestly can't remember if it was Turkey or Ibiza.
Wherever something like this happens it is terrible.
