Might be, an idea, also been thinking about a hootoo piccy just a sort of nice one, needs to know size piccy format, and if it's B/W or colour

Well, if you just want to do a picture for fun you should send it to the Post.
Standard size for Entries is 300x400 px (portrait or landscape), but if it's just a random picture make it no wider than 500px and any high is ok as long as it doesn't get ridiculous. But the max file size is still 100k, like it was with the BBC.
