Yes, it snowed last night and this morning. At least it waited until after Halloween. This caused the sparrows to flock for snacks and rest in the bushes to keep their little feet warm.

Over here it's surprisingly cool for summer so far.

It's sunny and warm today, 20 degrees C and not a cloud in the sky.

The sun, the snow ...

Weather in South Africa (at least the bit where I live) is never predictable. So far the summer has been cool, wet at first, then cool to warm, with frequent clouds but little rain, now we're getting rain again ...

I'd say over here the temperature also its 20-25 degrees C in the day, but we do have clouds. If it were all sun, we'd be looking at temperatures in the thirties.

Oh ... I forgot to say ... we had some freak cold weather at the beginning of spring, a little gift from our good old southern neighbour, Antarctica. It showed in much of the interior, but not up here where I live. It's never snowed here in human memory. There has been snow in the mountains close to here, but I've missed it.

Today, it's about 20C outside, and sunny. We get a lot of variable weather.

In the 1980's some of my friends went to Egypt for an holiday, the first day on arrival - it snowed They saw many Egyptians on their knees, touching/smelling/tasting the snow etc - They'd NEVER seen it before...

I've been with people when they first experienced snow. It's wonderful to watch.
