Most of the German style sausages I've managed to find in the UK, are... generally truely appauling rubbish, like the cheap frankfurta (sp?) I described earlier in the can Mind, I haven't been eating sausages much recently they're so high calorrie and fat - though I did find some loverly venison ones from a butcher, and they seem lower calorie, and as they're decent just 2 of them per person goes a long way in say a bean stew type affair Maybe I've not looked hard enough for decent frankfertas here mind, I do vaguely recall seeing sort of 'fresh' ones in prepacked refridgerators years ago in the shops... hmm, I guess some of the kielbasa sausages we got from the polish shop are simular in some regards, and some of them were quite decent (but again off the menu now due to the calories )
