The Madness Begins in Cleveland

So many parallels between Trump's campaign and the UKIP party.
Trump has an aide who believes Hilary Clinton should be shot for treason. Here, we have a UKIP councillor who thinks everyone voting to remain in the EU should be shot:

Evidence the 'special relationship' will continue...

Yeah, Trump's rise has opened the mouths of many Rebiblicans to "say what they mean" and eschew political correctness. On the night Melania Trump was sucking up all the attention with her[sic] speech, a prominent Rebiblican congressman was on a panel on MSNBC and spouted white supremacist statements. He still couched it in dog whistle terms by saying "Western Civilization" rather than "The White Race", but it's quite clear what he was saying and he is unapologetic for saying so.
But it's being overshadowed by the other insane things being said at the convention, obviously.

Watch this clup from Boris Johnson and John Kerry's press conference in which BoJo was confronted with a number of quotes - among them one in which he compared Hillary Clinton to a sadistic nurse in a mental hospital. (This is sadly not in the clip)
This is called diplomacy, says Kerry. About time somebody lectured BoJo on it

I KNOW what contribution white people made to last night's festivities. And it was not an asset to western civilisation.

I don't believe Laura Ingraham did this intentionally, whatsoever. I'm sure it was completely inadvertent, but wow! this is a strong visual image.
I did NOT SEE this one coming.

And you post this just while I'm looking for a public domain image of the German American Bund... Thank you for contributing to the surrealism of this week...
